Learn About Lighthouse
Come see us! If you want to find out more, there are two things you can do:
- Come to Preview Day (typically, the last Friday in January). Students can spend an entire day visiting Lighthouse.
- Schedule an appointment with the administrator to ask questions and obtain information.
We want you to know and understand our philosophy, who we are, and how we function as a school body. Likewise, we want to know you, who you are and how you would function as part of our school family. This way we can discover if Lighthouse Christian Academy is a good fit for you.
To schedule an appointment, contact us or call the office (541-747-0702). During weekends or the summer, leave a message on the machine and we will get back to you.
Lighthouse Christian Academy does not discriminate against students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin.
Tuition & Fees
Our students and their families are our foremost concern. That’s why Lighthouse Christian Academy is committed to keeping tuition rates as low as possible. Please call for current tuition rates.
Our High School program satisfies State of Oregon high school graduation requirements and includes:
- 6-8 classes annually, monitored and tutored study halls, chapel
- High school transcripts
- Graduation ceremony
- High school diploma
Home school students can take individual classes on a per-class basis. Classes run from September through June.
In addition to the full-time high school and home school rates, minimal fees for books and P.E. facilities apply for certain classes.
The standard registration fee for full-time high school is $365 annually. If paid by the last working day of February, a $100 discount applies.
Registration fees for individual classes for home school students is at a per-class rate. No early registration discounts are available.
- High school classes: $56 per class
- Middle school classes: $56, first class; $38, each additional class
Registration deadline: the third Friday in August. Registration after this date incurs a late fee of $50 for full-time and $25 for home school.
Our top priority is to work with students who desire to walk with God and be trained in a Christian environment from a Christian perspective. That’s why we offer financial aid to quality Christian students who may not otherwise be able to attend Lighthouse Christian Academy. We offer three types of financial aid:
- Work Study (parents or students can work)
- Music Scholarships
- Need-Based Scholarships
Financial aid recipients are determined on a case-by-case basis. If you are considering sending your student to Lighthouse Christian Academy but are concerned about the cost, call and ask for Debra Norland.
